TRAK Ventures Fire & Safety was founded 2 years ago by yours truly – Rod Nelson. I received my start and training in the fire and safety industry nearly 10 years ago as an employee of the Safety Centre – a company that served the prairies for over 30 years. The experience gained over 10 years from industry professionals, co-workers, manufacturer’s reps and most importantly the Fire Fighters and Fire Chiefs themselves have helped me to understand the industry and their needs. This has been crucial to leading me to the point of launching out on my own career path.
Although fire service and industrial safety products are the cornerstone of this new venture, we are also diversified in other product offerings. We are a supplier and installer of window coverings and retractable screen doors and screen enclosures. The transition of my wife’s window covering side of the business since 1996 – Superior Blinds, is now under the umbrella of TRAK Ventures.
Currently we are a home based business in Brandon, MB, and my wife, Kathy is an integral part of this new venture. We look forward to providing our customers with unique and quality products to serve the needs of an ever changing and competitive marketplace.
